Where has the time gone?

Ok, so a year and a half later...let's have a status update: I am minus one cat (RIP Merlin), plus one baby (Kaya Lorelei 6/8/11), plus one miserable re-org at work and plus one mostly unsuccessful wrist surgery (spring 2010 so handbuilding will be more likely than throwing). The kiln and wheel? Still in the garage. The basement has had some progress though. My SO has made a 'project' out of it, so it is VERY slowly getting paint, walls, shelves... We bought some furniture from a Barnes and Noble going out of business (sturdy tables, lots of display style shelving). Did I know this little progress would be made in almost 2 years? No, but I can't say I am surprised. My ambitious goal? To complete studio set up by the end of the year. A completely unrealistic goal except that I have 3 weeks of 'use it or lose it' vacation due to me. 3 weeks of kids in daycare, SO at work. Just me, one cat, one dog, one turtle, one espresso machine and a list of house projects longer than my arm...
